My 92 has been towed 3 times over the past 3 years for CE light, rough running and no start conditions. The last spring it was towed for no start, the mechanic said he couldn't find anything other than non-descript codes and couldn't reproduce a no start condition or CE light. I asked that he keep the car and drive it, which he did, for a week and had no issues. I ran the car around 6-700 miles after that and had no issues.
I put my SVTF away for the winter this past November and have driving the SHO without issue until last week when car would periodically run rough with CE light. CE light would not come on during commute to work, but would on way home. Last trip home had a no start condition for 35min at gas pump. When engine did start, it idled around 2,000 rpm for more than 3-4 min then settled in at around 1200. I did not unhook battery during this incident. The check engine light was brighter than ever and never did go out after this incident.
The following day, I was unable to pull codes. No signal at connector and EEC would not go into self-test mode. So I pulled the car up on ramps to look for coolant around timing cover, o2 sensor wires pulled off, etc. and found this.....

I know it's not the MAF connector. Car isn't driven much, so I haven't done the 60K since 1989 and have forgotten most of what I've learned about this car. Is this from the CID?
Will the car run without the CID and would the timing belt chew up the wire if it was hanging?
Thanks in advance.
