Found in oil pan

Getting the oil pan replaced and some metal was found stuck in the oil pickup Where do you guys think it came from? No engine noise.

That kinda looks like a part of one of those little oil filters that be on the VCT solenoids. Or on the rear turbo oil feed banjo bolt there is a little wire mesh filter. Kinda looks like that. Have you had or did you do any work to the car recently?

I had the water pump and timing chain done almost a year ago.
