Ive done some research, done some digging, so far all the posts Ive found on here hint at a mythical spreadsheet somewhere, most questions are specific like the double horn honk disable (mines already disabled somehow), and everything ive found on the google are dead ends, forscans website doesnt have anything for a taurus, just a bunch of people looking for one in the forums. I have forscan, I have the adapter, I have the license, ive watched youtube, im ready to start playing with things better left alone. does any one have a line on one of these spreadsheets and/or what can be changed or added with forscan? do I go off an explorer or flex spreadsheet? can I use the F150 or fusion spreadsheet? playing with the computer is a little like brain surgery and put a 2 where there should be a 7 and now my taurus acts like a 92 cavalier. im a little nervous going in blind without something. any help or advice is appreciated.

Get your as-built data from: https://www.motorcraftservice.com/Home/SetCountry?returnUrl=/AsBuilt

Get your Taurus spreadsheet here: https://onedrive.live.com/view.aspx?resid=6DF661C7B798C246!36209&authkey=!AFU1fNooVsdzZDo

Other then that, the best write-up is here: https://www.taurusclub.com/threads/forscan-how-to-modify-program-module-data.345971/

Also, many of the options are not hexadecimal code changing. There is generally 2 tabs for each of the common modules. One is hexadecimal and one is a more user friendly drop down style interface. If you have the as-built, you can always just "factory reset".

dont you have a Interceptor? That would be why
no, I have a gem green 13 non pp. I have a feeling the PO might've done some changes with forscan or maybe just had a hook up at ford. I've noticed some hints that the car was appreciated for what it was and used for its purpose but maybe not kept up with the best. All the emblems were covered with carbon fiber decals (plus the ecoBEAST badge was added), radar detector hidden under the dash, the doors dont auto relock, the rear windows dont work from the rear switches, and the chimes are minimal.

They used Forscan, you can always do what Ta2 says and just do a factory reset.

Ugh I was voice typing and I thought it posted no... The safest way is to go to stock make Forscan changes and then flash your tune

FORScan changes usually affect other modules (like the BCM, IPC, etc.), some custom tunes can use strategies that might not be fully compatible with FORScan's standard operations or readings, leading to errors or unexpected behavior.

Out there somewhere
Thanks! Another question, do I have to remove the tune before doing the Forscan changes?
No, as long as FORScan can connect to the vehicle.

If FORScan cannot identify a tuned PCM you must restore the OEM tune. Connect and save the profile. Reflash the tune and use the saved profile to connect.

Finally got around to attempting some forscan changes. The 4Wd graphic came up, but that was all, No percentages for front to rear power.
I enabled mine thinking it would help diagnose potential issues, but the reality is it doesn't read anything but rdu engagement, and if something goes wrong there you get the awd disabled alert. So like @Texas Marauder said, it's more of a gimmick than anything. We definitely got screwed on our UI for these cars

I would like to delete the driver's seatbelt warning. There is a procedure in the owner's manual, but was wondering if there is a FORscan procedure for this? This is on a 14 SHO with PP

Yes the seatbelt chime can be disabled in forscan, either in the BCM or restraint systems I cant remember. I literally just opened forscan and started looking for anything with a clickable option and explored what could be changed. Seatbelt chime, horn honk when leaving the car running, dark car, all popular edits that are easy to perform in forscan. I have yet to dabble in changing the codes themselves but the rabbit hole goes deep if you can figure that out.

It's in the Restraint Module. A simple 'enable/disable' check mark.
