It has been a few months since the transmission was installed in my car and I have some issues that I need to address. When I go over speed bumps, or any kind of bump, I hear a clunking sound from under the front end and I am wondering what could be loose under there. I remember the guy that did the work telling me about how he had to pull the engine and the subframe and "marry this to that" ........etc. Anyone have any ideas about how I might find what is clunking or what I should be checking under there?

I am thinking I should check the subframe bolts first, then things like the struts maybe, anything else? Thanks for any direction on this.

Check the common stuff... that is attached to the subframe... and easy access bolts to eliminate the simple problems.

This way if its something serious you can remove all the little things.

Also if the subframe or anything major like that were lose, you would know the second you put it in Drive or 1st cause the whole thing would shift...

I will check those,
..... and yes, this town has been nuts since the championship win. I have never seen so much toilet paper!
For those that don't know, after any win, people "roll" the trees at a spot on campus called "Toomer's Corner". After the National Championship win the entire downtown was rolled and you couldn't see the trees for all the toilet paper. It was awesome!!!
