It can be a tight fit by re-using the oem trans cooler lines, although it is doable. Got grip was able to use his and so did another customer of mine named Brent. On all of my kits I include flex trans cooler hose, fittings, and clamps to allow for an easier installation.

Basically this ^

I was able to sneak the pipe right through the rail without interfering with the trans lines. Its a pretty tight fit, but there isn't any pressure on the lines and everything has a little bit of wiggle room. I would recommend that when you move the condenser to get everything else out, to run the piping before putting the condenser back.

You should do a bash bar build. Would love to see more DIY and one off stuff in the SHO market.

That is the plan. We were tearing in to the front end for a few hours today. How did you get the original bumper bar off? I think I have to drill the 4 spots where it's riveted or something? I've never welded before. Do you have any tips or maybe a resource I can learn from?

The bumper reinforcement is spot welded onto the car, when replaced or removed it is not required to reweld the bar back on per ford guidelines. Just drill out the holes and unbolt it easy peasy.

Like gotgrip said, drill the spot welds out.
As for welding, there are two ways to weld good as a beginner. You can either buy the machine you want or can afford to use (brand and type (mig,tig,arc)) then practice with settings and steadying your hand til you like the look. Or you can buy a high end MIG that auto calibrates and squirt that metal glue like you're a pro. MIG welding is 80% machine (settings, type and quality of material) and 20% user skill.
I would suggest making a mild steel bash bar since Aluminum requires special machines (AC high freq), gases and techniques and stainless requires special gas (pure argon) while being temperamental.
However you go about it, DM me if you run into weird results or have questions.

Update: PI grill does fit for anyone looking to do the FMIC and wanting to keep your stock grill.
Didn’t your do your own or are you referring to the SEM kit?

edit: I just re-read from the start I realize you’re talking about what you put together.
