I was just wondering if anyone makes a lightweight flywheel for an ATX? If so, where and a guestimate on a price?? Are there advantages/disadvantages? Any info greatly appreciated!!

The "FLEXPLATE" in an ATX is about as light as you can really make it. ATX's do not have "flywheels". In fact, the flexplate is very thin and lightweight. If you want to do anything to the driveline, look for a better torque converter.

Yep - flex plates are flimsy thin - no gain to be had there. A better torque conveter would be the ticket (maybe)
