Flowmaster super 44 muffler swap

hi, 2010 owner here and new to forum. I am investing in an exhaust and really looking more for moderate/aggressive sound vs performance. In the clips I have heard, manga flow catback sounds a bit weak and corsa cat back is crazy expensive. Anyone have any feedback on a muffler swap with flowmaster super 44 and stock piping? Also, any other combinations that may create a "good" sound?
I know I wont get the v8 sound, but looking for an upgrade.
I feel this can be cheaper and get the desired sound.

I have not heard of anyone putting these on a SHO but I saw this video a few months back when I was looking at alternatives.

This is great! I was just literally investigating this and even visited my local exhaust guy! I also watched the 11 min YouTube vid from Flowmaster on all their 20 mufflers. The super 44 is a copy of the original flowmaster that made them famous with the Mustang 5.0 - but the Supper 44 has been tweaked for cars with over 400 HP. So... I was also wondering about these and what it would sound like with just a swap bc I too don't want to spend $1k + for an entire system for basically a sound-change!

Thanks for the assistance. @OmaHahn note that in the video comments there is also 3 in custom tubing and resonator delete, so it should sound better than a pure muffler swap with stock pipe.

Yes the video is not good and most likely not a good representation of the actual sound - he made the mistake of filming in the garage where acoustics are not ideal. There's echo and other noise influences.

I am SO lost on trying to find a "cheap," solution for my exhaust note! I want aggressive sound, but NOT in the cabin - I enjoy quite or the radio or conversing with my wife or daughter - resonator delete is not the answer. I really wonder if just muffler swap will work....??

Yeah I agree that video is a bad example. But it should help give you some kind of idea what it could sound like.

I am not sure if you saw the videos I posted over on the Roush Axel back thread. Changing out just he mufflers should improve it. I went on the cheap for a temp fix of welding in some AR25 resonators and it made a big difference. I would assume that if you put some free flowing mufflers in you would be much better off(not so much cab noise as resonators)

What are the stock inlet/outlet sizes for a muffler swap on a 2013+ SHO? I'm contemplating going this route as well - minus the 3" custom tubing.
