Just wondering out loud here, how much difference would flow matching injectors make? Or could it even make power? I've got two sets of injectors I'm thinking of sending to Cruzin Performance for cleaning.

There are still questions that have never been answered about equal pressure in the fuel rail.

I would think if there were any major differences in fuel flow to individual cylinders the plugs would tell the tale.

I did it on my '99, about 5000 miles B4 the convention, and you saw how much of a difference that made.

That being said, seeing the before and after flow rates on my report, for 73K injectors I was pretty surprised by the variances before hand and would recommend it as a PM measure.

Where are you getting this done? I found a site that would do it for $15 each and free shipping.

Nope not yet. I was thinking of doing it during the winter. I can't afford the downtime right now as my daily shitbox isn't starting. I haven't even got the phenolic spacers installed yet.

I'm thinking of doing the plugs, the injectors and the spacer all at the same time to **** more than one bird. I also want to get a UDP on it for next spring.

Throw a bottle rocket in the tank, it'll start right up! :thumb:

It actually started the first try this evening. I was going to push it into the garage when I thought I should try it one more time before pushing. Weird. It wouldn't start the past few days. I know I had spark to the coil because I held the coil wire up to the block and got a nice blast of voltage when Reka cranked the engine over.

I'll try the bottle rocket trick next time it won't start. Perhaps if the fuel is heated up it'll start, eh?

Or just put 3 bottle rockets in the tailpipe and you'll probably make the office in about 5 minutes! :nut:

Helps , yes.

It gonna help recover lost power , but you'll never get more power then stock.(new)
I agree with this guy Ian.
It won't be a horsepower gain as in a mod.
But more like a tune up to make in run better as in smoother and gain back the 1-2 hp(guess) lost and maybe a mpg increase. But neither that you may feel or notice.:salute:
