Floppy gas pedal (with pics)

My gas pedal rests considerably lower than my brake and clutch pedal and if I put my foot underneath it i can pull it up an inch or two and it will flop back down to the position. Not really an issue but its kind of annoying. I took some pics and it looks like something may be missing between the cable and the end of the pedal lever do-hicky. Any input would be apreciated!

Nuts

Well you can reposition the throttle bracket with a few nuts to bring it away from the throttle assembly. This will bring the go pedal up away from the floor. Makes heel & toeing a lot easier. Will try to post a few pics asap.

Here's some pics

First time uploading pics on to the internet. These pics are my attempt at Mickey Mouse engineering. A 1.5 inch long bolt...some nuts...place the oblong throttle bracket on the nuts...thus raising the go pedal up off the floor.
