Not to be outdone by Scrming.....

Thought I had posted this here before... but I guess not.

I had 2 - 12 second runs that day. On this run I turned a 13.0 to the Vette's 12.9+. Temp was 75 deg... DA was around 600 at Bradenton Motorsports Park which has an altitude of 30 feet.

Same day I creamed a Mercedes C class 6.3 AMG (he ran a 13.2 with a bad start) by over 10 lengths, and was ahead of a 2007 modded Z-06 at the 1/8, as he bogged at the start. He went on to beat me by about 4 lengths and was over 120 mph at the end.

I remember you posting this before. It was titled "Toaster beats a Vette" or something like that.

I thought I posted this before, but couldn't find it when I did a search. Sorry...

It is our Daily driver... has 40,300 mi. I have temporarily retired the Toaster, until Scrming beats my best time...

DA is the adjusted altitude based on temp, humidity etc. Thus the air wasn't favorable that day, given the low altitude. If it were dry and cold(say 40 deg) at Bradenton, say in mid-Jan most years, the DA might have been a negative 400 or more. In that air, I likely would have been a couple tenths or more faster.
