i look like cousin it. should have looked up. thanks again i'm back home now no problem. I'm going to look at it tomorrow in the daylight to see if there's any reason for the tire blowing out. checked the tire i put on the front when i stopped, and there's absolutely no sign of any rubbing.

just glad nothing super bad happened, i got off the road, and you could help. thanks again.

Given the location, check the stub that sticks inboard towards the tire for the sway bar end link to strut mount. Sometimes you need to dremel these back ~ quarter inch or so.

You are (were?) a long way from Houston - zak

the car was visually inspected for rubbing evidence and we found none, plus the replacement (rear tire rotated up) was fine after 25ish miles. and this is the second season these rims/tires have been sued, i think it was a freak thing with the tire (either i ran over something too small to notice and it lost pressure, or the tire was just bad)

and... my forum name has nothing to do with houston, its an old old joke from spanish class 8 years ago with a professor that couldn't say justin without an accent. :thumb:

Ya know , like my sig say's ...
I GOT FRIENDS IN SHO PLACES....

Deffinatly man, thats what it is all about. My SHO"s could be long gone, but I will still hang out with many of the people I have met. I would never have been this far along if I didnt' get help from so many friends.

Oh and when are we going to meet up. I know when I was doing my build I talked about driving up there, you still up for that somtime boss?
