I finished putting the motor back in my car yesterday cuz I replaced the clutch. After driving it for about five minutes I started hearing wierd sounds coming from the front passenger wheel area. First there was a strange gringind sound. Then when I turned even slightly to the right, there would be a thud noise that sounded like it was coming with each revolution of the wheel. Does anybody know what these could be? My tires are really bad and so is my alignment, could it be a bad tire?

It could be a bad tire, sure.

If they need to be changed, do the tires and then go from there.

First, make sure all the bolts/nuts are tight. Then, double check wheel bearings, since the grinding sound is typically a symptom of a bad wheel bearing.
