my engine sound s like the pics on v8 sho.com with the motor clics, man it sounds rough. the thing is i have an extended warranty until nov 2003. should i take the car in to get checked or wait till something happens. My warranty covers my engine, tranny and front end drive parts. I just don't want to sit around for weeks, if my engine goes. If i brought it in they probaly just replace my cams and sprockets right.
Anyways just wondering what i should do. since i don't have the money to bring it in get it torn apart and have them tell me theres nothing wrong.

I would take it in right away if it is really ticking, because they will probally ******** around for the longest time before they decide to fix it, and then try and blame it on you. So might as well just get it over with early.

Also you may just be a little paranoid because of the sound clips on v8 sho and the whole list of failures. Be sure that your motor sounds like those clips. Also note injectors tend to make some noise along with the standard sound of our engines. Some ppl say it sounds like a car that is starving for oil, but I have never heard a v8sho in this condition before so I can't really tell you.

If you can hear the engine ticking from inside the car, your cam sprocket is walking. Trust me. Get the car into the dealership and insist that they check the cam sprockets on the front bank. Make sure they remove the tension from the slave chain, otherwise it will be hard for them to see if the sprocket is actually loose or not.

Ahhh yes.... some are born to greatness, others have it thrust upon them wink LOL No really, I'm glad that you like the car and thanks for the nice comments.... even though you misspelled my last name. That's OK though.... It makes me sound like a **** star.
