I just did the fish tank mod I saw at www.shotimes/SHO4fishtanks.html and I may have a problem. The blinker arrows inside my car stay lit up halfway when I have my parking lights and/or headlights on. Also, when I use my blinker the heating and a/c stuff will blink for a second and then stop, like it lost power for a millisec or something. I also did the fog light switch mod and have pilot foglights instead of originals.
The blinker arrows did the same thing when I bought some "brighter bulbs" higher wattage bulbs for the blinkers too. I took those out since they blew up easily.

When I did the fish tanks several years ago, I wired them to the parking lamp cirucit only, not the directional circuit.

I did the tanks on mine about 2 years ago. Followed the instructions on the SHOtimes site to the letter, and to this day have had ZERO problems, or blown bulbs. I'm not sure what you've done that's causing such an electrical fiasco, but you may wanna recheck the wiring setup. Good luck! burn_out

I did this a couple weeks ago. I didn't find the instuctions particularly useful so I just tackled it after getting some help regarding which pigtails to purchase.

It sounds like you have a crossed wire somewhere. Maybe a bad ground wire. Light bulbs are non-polarized so it doesn't matter which way you hook them up or plug them in. I haven't had any problems with my fishtank lights.
