I did upper 60K a month ago, just after that lost cyl#2. New wires, plugs, so I was sure it's something else. Got injectors cleaned, check coils and nothing!
I swiched spaks plugs and balance test showed diff. cyl. not working.
"Pics?" of what?
the spark plug looks like new and never working.

The #2 plug is the most difficult to replace if done with the intake still atttached.

Inspect carefully to see if the insulator is damaged.

For a plug to not fire at all, I don't think it's unreasonable to assume that there would be some kind of visible evidence of failure somewhere on the plug. I guess what you are saying is that's not the case here. I find that very interesting.

Even some new plugs are bad. Check it with an Ohm meter.

Indeed.

For the thread originator to declare that he/she is a "victim" of the new part numbered plug because it is a new item is somewhat laughable.

My bet would be that either the plug was damaged in some way or it was a manufacturing defect.

Just because it's factory fresh doesn't mean it's good.
