First timer with 94 SHO.

I just got my first Taurus SHO. Its a 94. It wont crank over at all. I had a friend say that it might be the crank shaft sensor, but the pevious owner said that it not the problem. He said that it is the wiring harness. I have no idea on what to do or where to go. Help.

Let me be the first to say it: You need to pull the codes from the computer. Here's a way you can do it yourself:

also, we can help you more if you give us more info. for example.. when you try to start it, does the motor turn but not start? or when you turn the key, does it do anything at all? if the motor is turning, check and see if the tach is moving. the more info you can give us, the better.. and welcome to the shoforum and sho-ownership
