great looking engine treatment, did you use engine paint or what. I've thought of what I'd really like is a picture of the Chicago Bull mascot on it, but would cost a fortune. like i said very nice & how hard to do?

As mentioned before the engine cover was painted with plasti-dip. If your handy enough you could potentially paint the bulls logo onto the cover using a stencil... it would be very difficult and time consuming though.

I will definitely post a plasti dip guide between the time the semester ends and before my research assistant job starts (so between may 20th and june 4th). I'll most likely start a fresh thread for that one when the time comes.

I didn't know that plasti-dip would hold up in engine compartment, so got to try it. Yea the Bulls logo is a dream but what a dream to open up that hood & see the bull with it's nostrils flared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice work on the engine cover, not sure what color to paint mine, exterior is white...

Looks great thought about doing it to my '13 pp metallic grey!! Already did my stock rims and can't wait to get back on the car!! The rims came out incredible, I did 8 coats per rim for durability but also for easier removal if I want to change color.

Just curious?? Is ur engine cover pd or paint?? If so did u use a high heat tolerant paint???
