Yikes, traction should be just about non existent at those temps, Steve, unless they warm the track and you heat the tires.
If you've got summer rubber on then even worse.

Don't expect too much in this weather; I'd say you'll be lucky to get in the 13's at all.

How does traction affect an AWD car?, it doesn't burn at all even if I launch brake/torque at 2K RPM. From what I understand, if tires don't spin, there is no waste of power right? Thx

The next COOL nights are going to be in late May in IOWA... They are a thing of the past here in FL until next fall. SWFL has 120 days where temps are above or at 90 deg.

Fine line between "bogging down" and "spin HOP"... I could launch a bit higher RPM last night than at Immokalee the week before. May have been the higher temps kept power in control more. Each time is different.

Most of my runs last night with T/C off got me 60 ft times under 2. In IA last fall, only way to get 60 ft times under 2 was with T/C ON... Go figure????:nut:
