First and second gen underbumper

Is the bumper interchangeable between the two gens, and will a gen one bumper cover fit on a gen 2 bumper?

While my mind is still on my car does a gen 2 radiator fan fit on first gen radiator or should i pull out radiator and fan together.

bumpers will mount up but youll have some fitment issues

I know it will mount to the bumper supports, but is there a way to mount the cover on it or am i just hoping for to much.
I am asking because i found a gen2 in the junkyard that i could use the inner bumper off of if this is the case.
