Anyone know where I can maybe find the color I'm looking for on a swatch or whatever they are when it comes to car paint? Its hard to explain.. its white.. but a slight hint of blue, more blue at a cetain angle, and at a certain angle as well there's a very very light hint of pink, just faint enough to be seen at the edges. Does anyone know what this color is? Or how it would be achived? Its what I wanna paint my SHO. It's already hot in there, moving to Florida isn't going to help matters any, so I figured one of these days I could get it painted. Just have to figure out what that color is :bonk:

Is it that paint that kinda changes color when you look at it and move? b/c that paint is expensive due to all the layering n such

Sounds like white with blue pearl to me. Go to any auto body supply store, or paint shop. They have books with color chips organized by year and make.

My friends 92 Lexus ES 300 has a similar white pearl that your talking about. He just had it repainted, and it has a very nice bluish tint to it.

I would look into stock white pearl paint codes.. 90's style Diamante's, 90's style E320's, early 90's infinite M30's.

Or you could just go with a custom color. Around here, its not that expensive for a nice custom pearl.

Ive actually been looking into it myself, but I think Im gonna go with the new Ox.white clearcoat that the new lightnings have. They discontinued the Oxford white for a few years, until they brought it back a year or two ago. I still love the Ox. white, plus it will keep some kind of originality.

Do all these blue pearls have that very very very light pink in them? That's key for me, I gotta have that specific color if I'm going to repaint it. Thanks for all the help!

I forgot about GM's Cadillac white pearl. That has a very noticeable pink tint to it.

Or you could go with the Mary Kay edition caddy. Ever seen that? That color is really cool. That has too much pink for what you looking for though.......Or does it.. :snicker:

I don't want Mary Kay ***** pink! :snicker: I don't want a noticely pink color by any means, I just want it to have more dimention, I've seen it on cars on some video games, like a S15 Silvia, and I've seen it in RL, so I know its possible to get it, but for the life of me I don't remember what car it was on in RL.

You want a white pearl. Any automotive paint store should be able to show you real color chips of the color and mix it any way you want.
