Ok, I've picked up a few probe equalizers, and think I've got the wiring issues worked out. Next part is making a nice faceplate and mounting setup for them. I'm looking at making a piece that replaces the storage bin / cig lighter in the front of the 93-95 style console. Is there anyone who is good at this stuff.

A second option I have thought of if you have the older style console is to make a mount and cover that mounts in place of the ashtray that pulls out under the dash.

All you need to do is cut the pocket off the back of the existing panel (I used a Dremel with a metal cut off blade) and then make the opening wide enough for the EQ on the lighter socket side. It's already the correct height so you don't need to cut anything on the top or bottom of the opening. Be careful to not cut into the rounded edge on the face of the panel. There will be a small section that you will have to fill where the lighter socket was at. You can fill it with whatever you are comfortable working with but one the ones that I have made I used 2 part clay type epoxy and then LIGHTLY sprayed the entire part with some black "cast iron" texture paint I got at Home Depot. You will also have to trim the "ears" on the EQ to get it to fit between the mounting posts.

I thank you for your advice, just wish you had done a write up with pics for us on all the wiring and panel making aspects, would have been really nice to have. More of a step by step guide. How did you trim the ears of the eq? same way? How did you mount the eq to the faceplate?

I used a dremel with a cutoff blade to trim the ears. To mount the EQ to the panel use the stud and nuts that mount the panel to the console top. You will need to put the panel on the console top first and then place the EQ in from behind. Use the nuts to secure the EQ and the panel together. I also used some hot glue around the top and sides of the EQ (but not the bottom) to git it a more secure mounting. Anything more permanent that hot glue will give you problems later if you ever have to remove the EQ from the panel. I also made a little filler strip out of electrical tape for the small gap at the bottom of the EQ. I cut a long strip of tape 1/3 the width of the tape and then stuck to another full width strip sticky side to stick side. This gave me a piece of tape that is not sticky in the middle but sticky on the edges. Stick the tape to bottom of the EQ and the panel from behind to fill in the gap.
