1. last weekend we installed a pair of SHOnut reinforced motor mounts because the intake was developing some rubs from the hood liner. Well after getting them in, it still rubs. What else could it be? I did not really notice a difference in shifting, but launches seems to be better. Any ideas? headbang
2. After I re-installed the intake to fix a vaccume leak, the "S" coolant hose that goes to the TB developed a crack from being pressed on the end of the fuel rail. I don't know there was no room all of a sudden, but none the less it has a crack and was shooting hot coolant all over my new intake. So instead of trying to locate another hose/get it on there, I just found how to by-pass the whole TB coolant system by taking the intak hose and sticking it the return hole. But now it runs like $hit when it is cold. the exhaust sounds different, kind of like a pa pa pa pa pa pa instead of a constant, even noise. and it really lacks power. Even after it warms up, it has to sit a while and bake before it run good. but after it does, it is fine. Is the cold running problem due to the by-pass of the TB lines? I installed a 89 comp and a LPM too...could those be the problems? or ???
thats all for now....
Thanks

Did you double check that there are no vacuum leaks when the engine is cold?
