Hey guys I went through the threads, looked at a couple of builds on here where people are converting their Festiva's with MR swaps, sort of replicating the Shogun layout.
I had a few questions.
1st: Are they taking the cradle from underneath the Taurus SHO and mounting that in the rear? Or are they getting that cradle out of another car?
2nd: The Festiva is a unibody right? It would seem like people are making a roll cage, then mounting an engine cradle to the roll cage. Is there another way to do this? Or can I just use a simple 4 point rollcage?
I want to do this to my car, just b/c it's a 3rd/extra car. I paid too much for the car to sell it for such a low price now (it's actually a Yaris). I'm asking here because... MR hatchback swaps are probably more common here than anywhere else.
Yeah I could just swap a Fiero, but I'll probably never be world's fastest Fiero
Thanks a bunch!
