i would think it would be carpeted on the trunk floor, with some sort of massive system so you won't have to worry about the sides or back cause you won't see them

No plans yet for the trunk. I will have 2 10's and 2 amps all Polk/momo brand. So far just the stock carpeting. I do want to have a molded CF box w some nice lighting. I will be sound deadning the trunk once im done with the interior.

The interior still a bit of a hastle ... missing parts such a shift boot, spring loaded door for ash tray in center console.Taking a trip to the junkyard tomorrow!

Well the heads are on ... I checked the valve lash after installing the heads and there were no changes ... i had the reference sheet with gaps written down. This is possible right? I know Mikey had mention that they would be off?

Anyway... here are few pics of the engine progress together with my polished front valve cover. Also the adjustable cam gears installed (forgot to take pics of the exhaust gears).

Are you polishing these yourself? If so, how much time has the polishing taken so far? What else is on your schedule?

No, Im having a Pro do it. He charged me 50dlls to do those gave them to him one night and they were done next day.

For schedule im trying to get the engine running by the end of the week. Still have to finish off the interior (some minor parts to put together including stering wheel) but im focusing on getting the car running. I will have take of the crank pulley off since the bolt was loose and check in there. If all is bad then i will have to weld the crank sprocket to the shaft and maybe even the dampner too (maybe a light weight dampner is due?!). I know people have done this before so im really not worried about it since i read that crank cancer is not a problem after welding. I do have 4 woodruff keys that i managed to get new from ford dealer.

It has been done before like i said ... I guess i will have to change it before the welding.

But i dont know whats going to happen untill i take off the dampner and check everything down there.

Yes ... It was a little troublesome installing the speakers. I have 6X9 in the rear and 6 3/4 in the front. The rear speakers are mounted from the inside of the trunk and made new holes. I used a spacer the came with a speker set from alpine. It worked great so the speakers dont hit the rear deck when moving. I took out the old door speakers and cut the bracket in half and mounted the speaker. This speaker is huge it includes a X-over mounted in the inside of the door panel with double sided stick tape and a tweeter. I mounted the tweeter in the speaker grill opening. This is how the install went....

The dash also looks a bit more complete ... just have to put in the A/C unit and the stering wheel.
