What gas cap did you get for car again? A late model mustang? My car is going in to the body shop soon and they will need it for install. Car looks great BTW. I personally would have had the shop do something a little different to the front bumper cover. It look odd to me to see the nice new fenders and the stock looking front bumper attatched to them, scrape tabs and all. Rear looks great though always loved the shape and style of the SHO rear bumper.
Any word on reproducing those flares yet? Price?

It from an Audi TT. If you buy 'em new at the dealer they go for 400 and some change. I got mine off ebay for 150 Brand new. It took me a long time to find one on ebay. You do have to modify(cut) the inner lip of the gas door opening.
I did have a Ford Perfomance one that fitted mustangs and it fits the SHO perfect but i sold it.

The front bumper has the flares molded on to them also to continue the fender onto the bumper. It really looks good...

If you like i can send you the part of the audi fenders(pay for the shiping and they'll be on their way! Just return them when you are done!) that the body shop used to make the flares outa fiberglass. That way you can custom fit them exaclty to you want. I ony have the fronts since they used those to make the rear flares too. They just used what was the right audi fender on the left QT panel and vice versa. I think that body shop will be more confortable with something they made to work with it.

Plus there is alot of pictures on the work of the flares on my car domain site if you want to pull some pics so they can work with them.

Let me know.

Intake looks sweet. Being that I'm in Rockford, myself and some buddies might come down sometime to check out the car, but we'll let you know.

How about the interior? At what point are you on the installation of the seats, etc?

All the interior pieces are waiting to get installed. Im waiting on the vents in order for me to install the dash board since the passenger one you can only get to with the dash off. Getting almost done with the trim for the windows and weather gaskets for the doors. New carpet is in. The headliner is installed. Still have to order new seats that i want for it.

you don't need to remove the dash to replace the passanger side vent....

Hmmm ... did not know that! I guess you can access it from under the glove box?

Here is pic of the steering wheel wrapped in suede with the airbag painted.

I would like to put a blue oval (ford) on the center of the airbag, a buldged sticker any body know where i can find a nice one? The paint kinda filled up the leters in there.

Nope ... regular automotive paint is fine as long as the surface is preped right.

I will try and snap some pics up, but basically the louver part of the vent comes out, and then you have access to the tabs on the top and bottom to slide them out. if you intend on keeping the vent, be carefull as the tabs snap pretty easily. I guess over the years the plastic becomes brittle with so many hot/cold cycles.

black dash, right? have you considered painting the vents orange?
