I know this is kind of specific, but I'm curious if anyone knows what the fastest time is for a stock turbo SHO with no power adders like meth or NO2? Trying to give myself some kind of goal here, and turbos at this point are out of the question with current life house reno and issues that have come up. Thanks for any input!

Kind of melts down to pure definition of stock turbo. I had compressor wheels which did nothing but some people would rightfully argue it's not stock turbo anymore so that's why I always say stock turbo size as it's still stock housings. However if you're talking all stock turbos I know of at least one guy who has ran 11.65 with all stock turbos otherwise it's 11.38 with stock turbo "size" no nitrous and no methanol

Not sure what Andrew's best is before he went upgraded turbos

Now that I'm reading finer into what you said then I'm not sure because you said no methanol

So it sounds like its for sure at least in the 11's (mid?). Guess we will see how far I can do once I get the fuel pump in. Not trying to go "FULL SEND" and push 20 psi and all that, but just trying to set a bar. Thanks guys for the input!

Same question as GotGrip (stock turbos, no meth), but full weight, is anyone in the 11's?

Yes, several people. I went 11.75 full weight before the stripping but again depends on if you call stock turbo size still stock turbos. Otherwise can't name names off the top of my head but with the introduction of the xdi35 lots of people pushing into the 11s

You went 11.75, no meth/no nitrous?

The reason I ask is because that's my goal too, 11's with no meth/nitrous, on stock turbos.

GH e30, ppe catted dp, DG trans mount, h&r, gh ic, epp cai, xdi35 and msd coils

From what I've been told and read it will take weight reduction or meth or upgraded turbos to get me there.

I've never been down the drag strip with methanol and nitrous didn't come until after I'd set the original record. Here's the footage but this is before I actually started commentating on my videos so it's pretty bland but the mod list I had at the time is in the description. Actually met up with another SHO owner that night at the drag strip!

Depending on the track, if your turbos hold higher boost across the higher RPM band, and if Matt is aggressive enough with the tune you should be close to running an 11 with your current set up.

If at full weight, set the front tire pressure between 24 and 28 psi, and the rears at 40 psi. I would run with your fuel level between a 1/4 and 1/8. If you can get the sixty foot down into the 1.70's, you have a good chance.

I have pretty close to the same setup and I am wanting to run an 11 full weight as well.

He's working on an e30 revision for me, he said second looked weird, but I had to clarify that I was on an on ramp that had a little bigger curve than I thought and I had to get out of it as it started to drift or crab walk... whatever you want to call it. Once I straightened back out I let er rip and it was no knock for me and he said there was definitely more power there to get out of it.

My next upgrade is definitely wheels and tires, I'd like to go with a 275 setup, that way I know I "GotGrip." <-- do I have to pay a trademark fee for that or something?

For reference I went 12.56 @ 108.98 mph and went 1.77 to the 60 foot. That was E30 tune only (plugs and K&N drop in). Completely stock dp's, completely stock axle back, stock IC, completely stock suspension, stock tq mounts, stock rims, on stock size Conti Extreme Contacts.....

Since then I added, FS HFPF, PPE Catted DP's, custom Mid Pipe, GH IC, H&R's, AD Gen 2 TQ mounts, wider and lighter rims, and MSD coils. Hopefully with all that it gets me close to an 11.

Just throwin this out there, my TE37 Ultras (20×10, 30mm offet) are up for sale. Dark Bronze, 23lb a rim, hella light. Excellent shape.

It currently has Hankook Ventus ST RH06 tires in 275/45-20 on them...

Rim/tire combo is 58lbs.

That is all...carry on...LOL

My 11.75 was on stock turbos, no meth no nitrous and stock suspension. I took a good bit of weight out to do it tho. Best full weight was 12.04 in 2500 DA. Pretty sure the car has 11's in it full weight with the right weather now that I've added the EPP intake, just haven't had a good weather track day this year yet.

I'm exempt from this thread for using meth for power since day 1 of going to the track but my best stock turbo pass was an 11.83 with stock IC/fuel pumps early October in 2018 with rear seats out and no spare tire. This was after a 3 hour track delay in the am followed by me hitting the right lane prep first for the day. Rest of the day never came close to my first run. Filmed it but with just a cell phone it's hard to see my finish time so the slips are included at the end of the video in order and pics of the car clearly displaying my car's number. My favorite pass of all time against someone else is the last pass in the video against a turbo diesel Ram truck....his black smoke was all I could see in my side mirror but I never saw him, he was right next to me but couldn't pass me, I reacted faster, finished first but he ran a faster time. Personally all I care about is my time so I considered that a loss for me.
