I just dropped another engine into my 92 SHO 49 stater (no egr)
When I plugged the harness all together and turned the key on the ICRM made a loud buzzing sound it worked before but now it is buzzing. The fuel pump worked like it should.
I switched the ICRM with another and the same result (both 'M's)
I started unplugging the connectors related to the ICRM and the culprit was one of the three plugs that plug in above the radiator fan. (4 wires, two yellow, two red) when this plug was undone the ICRM stpped buzzing. The wires go into the main harness from the engine control harness plugged into the computer on the firewall.
What is this plug, and does anyone know the problem I'm having?
