Where do I find the tension adjuster screw for the rear (of car) accessory belt. And where do I can access to it. I can see the two tensioner bolts and the adjustment screw for the front belt, but not for the back.

Secondly, has anyone had a problem with getting them to turn do to corosion or anything. I was thinking of spraying them with PB but if I get it on the pulleys or belt that would be bad.

Thanks

:thumb: Yo shouldn't need any PB blaster in there. If you can see the back idler pulley (fire wall), the adjusting screw is just above it like the front. Loosen the pulley nuts, and then sneek an extension down in there. A swivel socket may help as well. I think they are a 5 or 6mm for the adjusting screws.

Look on Shotimes.com. Links are under care & feeding. It takes some creativity to get that back tensioner, but not a ton.

to do mine i just undid the one bolt holding the torque limiter to the engine then pushed it away. then i just got in there with an allen wrench and started turning. sure theres easier ways, but thats all i had to use so i did it that way and it worked fine. took a few minutes just to loosen it, but its not bad.

theres a special groove cut out of the engine brackets above it, so if you have one of those long, t-handle allen keys (6-8 inches), you can snake it down through the wire runs and adjust it without scraping your knuckles. Of course, you would still have to tighten/loosen the nut on the outside, so i guess it's not that much help
