fan always stays on

Ive been trying to figure out why my fan stays on when the car is running.
Even when the climate control is off it stays on.I checked the relays,and there is no funny stuff going on there If anybody knows anything about the problem,switch etc. please help thanks

Possibilities:

Relay, shorted switch, coolant temperature sensor if you are talking about the radiator fan. (check for codes)
