so two pieces of the exhaust the failed are the left muffler and the extension pipe because the previous owner backed up and snagged it on something and bent it all to ****.

now i ordred 2 summit turbo mufflers with the 2.25 inch inlets and my friend said the extension pipe is the piece that connects the left muffler to the y pipe? or is it smalle than that.

now the plan was to take it on base and use their welder and lift, but since i cant get the car on base im going to have to take it to a muffler shop.

how much do they usually charge to put 2 mufflers on?

also would it be cheaper if i cut the mufflers off beforehand or even in the parking lot of their shop.. im on a VERY tight budget which is why i was trying to do the work myself..

also for the extension pipe can i just buy like a certain size pipe and bring it there and have them weld that on too, like i said if someone could recommend me the cheapest but safest way to get all of this done id be MUCH obliged

Most exhaust shops will take care of you and your car for a decent price.

Shoot, the last time I had a shop do some work for me, all the guy wanted for payment was a 6-pack of MGD :D
