Failed Harmonic balancer

Anybody had this problem? The outer damper has seperated from the inner hub, chewed up the belt and scuffed the back where it rubbed the block. I was able to slide the outer damper off by hand. When I pulled the inner hub off, I noticed radial cracks across the pulley groves. I've had this off twice in the last 4 years and never noticed any problem. I've always used the proper puller - pulling the center using bolts, never from the outer edge.

Anybody know if the MTX damper is different from the ATX? I know the MTX uses 2 belts, but the ATX has two belt pulleys and uses only one. Maybe they are the same?

Anybody got a damper laying around? This is terrible timing - I have paid for a 2-day track event next weekend.

Check AutoZone.com and RockAuto.com I'm pretty sure both can get them for around $80 new (aftermarket).
