Strange thing happened to me. One day unplugging my cell phone charge the whole cig. lighter plug came out, I guess it came unscrewed from looking at it. The bad part about it is to reach behind with one hand to hold the lighter housing with 1 finger while trying to screw in the plug itself if F-c-kn' impossible, has anyone taken apart that part of the shifter/dash??

HELP!!!

My cigarette lighter mechanism pulled out the first time I inserted my cell phone car charger!

I haven't tried to get it back in yet, but if you do find some cool easier way to get it in there, please let me know!

I have taken mine apart. I removed the entire assembly to put in my instrument cluster. Don't want anyone smoking in the car anyway. If it turns out you need spare parts for it, let me know.
