exhaust ******

my exhaust ****** past the cats broke and the exhaust is just blowing under teh car. what is teh best fix. should I try to find a nother ****** and put it back together or should I just stick in a peice of flexable exhaust tubing and some clamps?
I need some thing cheap and effective.

For a temporary fix you could just use the flex tubing and a couple clamps, but it won't last long. SHO Shop has a $79 flexpipe conversion kit that eliminates the problematic graphite donut gasket/spring bolt setup. Not exactly cheap, I know, but effective nonetheless.

The ****** broke or the donut gasket at the ****** has fallen apart?

well I am sure teh donut is gone but the ****** looks real rusty like it may fall apart soon.

JC Whitney has a good deal on a SS flex pipe and flanges. Around $70 for the everything.
