Last night, I realize that some <explicit explicit> idiot decided to replace the middle section of my exhaust (from the y-pipe to the cat back) by welding a new pipe directly onto where the 2 pipes of my y-pipe meet. This weld has sprung a leak (obviously, no flex pipe or ******) If I buy a new Y-pipe, is there anywhere I can get the back end of the middle section (where the gasket hooks up to the y-pipe w/ the 18mm bolts, the bolts/springs, etc.) Should I just have the section I already have re-welded? Can I just repair my current y-pipe by "re-adding" the gasket/****** onto it? Thanks for your time.

I would take this opportunity and have a muffler shop cut the pipe and weld in a ****** and flex pipe section similar to the ATX SHOs.

Will any decent muffler shop have the parts needed to do this, or will I have to hunt down parts from used ATX/MTX shos?
