Are you going to the drags sometimes? I'd be glad to hear about it... and other Gen4 as well, we don't hear too much and I am for sure very interested to read about others... I feel I am of the only ones sharing... or maybe is it that I go too often? lol! anyways, I am glad you enjoy my progression and I will keep you posted when I will return.

haha, some might say I'm a little too old for that (just turned 64) but love the sport none-the-less (and of course fast cars.)
My brother and I have attended many, many races from our locals in southern Ont., to your Sanair in St. Pie, to Indy in Sept. (tho sadly not this year).

Love to hear about the races especially people we know and follow.
Another factor is $$$$$ ... not cheap to keep up with brakes, tires, fuel, broken bits and pieces -- found that out the hard way having sponsored a race car back in the 60's. Was real fun --- but not cheap.

Some day I'd like to put both mine down the track 'just to see' , but on a regular basis it's just not feasible.

Love hearing about your exploits tho. and of course all our other SHO brothers and sisters.

Keep up the great work and kudos for your effort. It's great for all our reps.

I get you. However, since we are already paying for teh car, I personnally find it not very expensive :
10$ for the night
about 10$ of gas
5$ for a drink a 2 hot dogs...
For the brakes, I try to use the most after track possible and use the paddle shifters to help braking...
In a night, if you do about 6 runs, it shouldn't affect your brakes, shouldn't cost you much gas and once in a while, there is nothing wrong in pushing the car a bit, still far from its capacity in terms of top speed...
And 64 years old is not old, it is the time when you NEED a car to run because the legs won't get you any wins... lol!
You should go my friend... I fyou plan on coming in my area, please PM, I'd be glad to invite the hot dogs and drinks!

Count on me saying when I'm up that way for sure. Would love to visit some time and maybe get a race of 2 in.
Watching a 12.*** SHO pass would be great too.
