Has anyone ever used VP racing fuel cooler? The coolent additive, I only want to use it for the rust prevention it says it works really well with aluminum, also helps water pump seals, just curious about a couple thing? If it is safe? Also the best mix for it coolant/water wise? And how much is to much? I have some in my system still but replaced the turbo and about a gallon of coolant drained out from my turbo coolant lines, can I still add the whole bottle or just half the bottle or none at all?

Never used it, never heard of it til now. Save your money, use the proper mix (50/50) of Motorcraft yellow coolant. It will provide all the protection you need. If you have to add water, use distilled water only.

I agree with Texas Marauder. Don't fix what's not broken.

VP Racing Cool Down, Red Line Water Wetter, Royal Purple Ice, Rislone Hy-per **** Super Coolant, Amsoil Coolant Boost, DEI Radiator Relief, etc. There are a ton of different products and even more opinions. Do some research from somewhere you trust and make sure they are using it in a similar application. Some of them perform well in testing and then you find out it was with straight distilled water and if you do 50/50 it performs poorly. Personally, I use Hy-per ****, 40/60 water to antifreeze, a 160 thermostat, a 1.3 bar radiator cap, an my tuner adjusted my radiator fan temps. There will people who agree and disagree.
