On my way home today my car decided to throw a few codes and it started running rougher than its ever been. I got an evap leak code, cylinder 6 misfire code, and an o2 voltage low code.
I pulled over, shut it off and restarted it, still there, cleared the codes, still there, then I started smelling gas. I yanked the engine cover looking for the purge valve and it started to smooth out cel wenr away, later i found the valve i think (rear side of the intake?) So i think i may have knocked it with the cover and "fixed" it. I also noticed my catch can lines were both almost completely collapsed so that's on the to do list now, related? I don't know.
Anyone have a purge valve fail? I've had em go on other cars but not cause driveability issues like this. I've had a few gremlins with this car cause misfires but this was scary obvious, felt like a dead miss.
