no "euro" style lights, and lets keep it that way. but the guage install is simple, just pop the dash cover off, and the guages slip on over the stockers.

Why would you want to keep it that way? E-code lights (unfortunatly no SHO's sold in europe, so we don't get E codes) Are almost always more efficient lights then the more "tamed" DOT versions. I just took a test drive tonight with my new HID's. oh_my eek! Amazing compared to the ******* stock lights. They were even aimed way low for testing them out, but still, oh_my eek!

Unless you are talking about "euro" or clear tail lights... then I agree :D

Hi Chris,
so, you chose HID headlights instead of HID driving lights like mine! I am interested in knowing what HID headlights you installed. High and Low beams?
By the way, some mechanic charged a SHO owner around 800 bucks for what Ron did on yours.

I too would be interested in a set of headlamps not unlike those. Currently, I've been putting a lot of thought into custom fabricating my own lamps with independant HID lights mounted to Taurus lenses with circular holes for the HIDs to sit in. It's hard to describe, but once they're done (if ever), I'll be sure to supply pics. Again, very nice!

Wowzers eek! Ok, I'll try and give a quick description.

Dave, I used 2003 BMW 325? Bi-xenon headlights as the guts. I kept the Halogen high beam in as well so when you turn the brights on, the shield in the projector moves down, along with the halogen high beam coming on also which creates something I like to call Bright as ****! $800 bucks! lol laughing

Well here goes:
I took some stock housings and cut off basically the whole back on them cause the projectors are pretty long. Then I cut out almost the whole front textured lens and replaced it with flat, clear lexan. I sealed that with clear marine epoxy on the front, and Devcon on the back. Then I just had to put in the projectors and highbeams and blinkers in and get them aimed properly. This is where I messed up a little bit because I aimed them too low (they are still 100x better then the stock ligths though!) so I have to open them back up and fix that again.
They are actually a bit ugly when you look at them really up-close IMO, but I don't care because they work so damn well. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I had to modify the plastic header panel too. Also I had a super complicated wiring harness too with all the bi-xenon and halogen highbeam wiring. But I got it done, for the most part at least, still needs a bit of tweaking, but I'm very happy with the results:
(my stupid camera makes them look almost green shrug  )

Why would you want to keep E-Code lights off the SHO? Or any other car??
