I was wonderig if these engine and tranny torque dampners need to go into my 95 atx when I do the swap. I got a 89 mtx from a guy in st.paul that he had cut the roof off of from the sunroof back. I got it cheap enough but the clutch doesnt engage when I have everything on the floor I will look int it as I am going to replace clutch and flywheel. I have been on the forum everyday for about 6 months reading and planning on how I am going to do this and what I need. The 89 is a running driving car with a good trans, I am taking just the tranny and everything else needed to do the swap I am putting it into my 95 atx 3.2 of course. I am sure I will be back with a few questions as I run into things I may need more input on certain things.

Stock motormounts may fail prematurely without the aide of the roll dampers limiting jounce of the poewrtrain.

I would bet that those engine dampers were one of the most expensive things that Ford added to this car's engine compartment. Since they don't spend money for no reason, I've decided that those roll dampers are more important than people think.

^ I also use all of them. I have sho source reinforced mounts. It does not hurt to have them. It only takes a min or so to take off if you need to.
