Engine swap 2

Hi folks, can anyone tell me if an engine from a 2017 expolorer (3.5 ecoboost) will work in my 2010 SHO? I just did a swap putting a 14 engine in my 11 SHO and I'm pretty sure the engine wasnt from a SHO based on some brackets and plumbing.

As long as they were still using the VCT and not the Ti-VCT or dual fuel system in 2017, I would say the odds are very good it will work.

Im looking into doing this swap myself.

I am curious about how to make sure what exact engine will swap right into my 2010 SHO.

I have read that there might be different heads, cam sensors or something like that..
Anything would help me out.
I truly appreciate any information about this.

I can get a engine from a 2015 explorer for next to nothing..
