Hey folks, I just bought a 94 SHO with a 3.2 & auto tranny. The front motor mount was really weak, so I put in a new hydrolic unit from Oriely's, but it broke in 2 after 4 days of casual driving, then a solid one from autozone popped at the top at the mount holes - just sheared in 2, then that same break happenned after they did a warranty replacement. Now I am on day 2 with a solid replacement from autoadvance. The biggest issue I have had is the front mount having bolt holes that are 2 close together, one of them failed because I hogged it out some I know, but nobody seems to carry a mount that lasts for long. I also replaced the rear mount as a precaution. My motor is totaly stock. Does anybody else have these issues or a fix for it? I am tempted to make a solid welded unit, but I dont want to be shook to death. I certainly dont want that engine to whack my hood anymore either. Also - would a weak tranny mount cause the tranny to shift funny?

Are you sure your tranny mount is intact? I would think that if a brand new one broke, then there has to be another contributing problem.

Are the mounts you bought "SHO" specific?
