Hello. I was curious if any has a manual/repair manual for a 1992 ford taurus sho? I'm unfamiliar with this engine and I'd really like to take the camshaft covers off to replace a few things like the spark plug well gaskets, and the valve cover gaskets, as well as the spark plug themselves. i need to know how to take the intakes off the top of the engine to make this procedure easier for myself. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You'll probably want to see if a moderator can move this post to the Gen 2 forum for more hits.

I remember taking the cam covers off of my 1993 SHO years ago and thinking it wasn't nearly as difficult as it looked like it would be. I seem to recall having to remove the Idle Air Control servo and two braces from the cam covers to the upper intake (one front, one rear), then unplug the ignition module, unbolt the upper intake down the center, and remove the whole assembly. Once that's out of the way, getting to the cam covers and spark plugs was simple.
