Hi. Long time lurker. I have a 93 ATX Sho. My car recently started throwing codes accompanied by a rough idle and laggy acceleration. The codes I've pulled are 172 - Lack of heated O2 sensor switch running lean, 173 - lack of heated O2 sensor switch running rich, and 179- fuel system at lean adaptive limit at partial throttle, system rich. I also had a 332, but fixed that thanks to some posts here. Does anyone have any opinions? I don't want to jump to the O2 sensors for replacement immediately, but would like to know if anyone has encountered the same issues before? Thanks!

Sounds like a dead 02 sensor. Replace with NTK brand (OEM part), it's currently just under $28 from Rockauto.

I'll try that out. I was thinking about unplugging my sensors and seeing if the motor runs stable without before replacing.

Ran the SHO with the O2 sensors unplugged. Idle issue magically disappeared. Will be ordering new ones tonight.
