Does anyone have any sort of diagrams or measurements for all the lengths of wires used for all of the grounds to the engine?? I am thinking of changing all of them with a "new" product offered for my TL-S that also has a universal kit, both kits are dyno proven to add anywhere from 3-11HP to the wheels which isnt bad for just "basic" electrical work.

I belive this is what you ae buying Hyper Ground System. Sounds like a Monster Cable setup for the engines grounding points.

The VAK is not what you are buying. It will give you HP on demand. And for the pre-Gen3 I sell it for $xx delivered. It is easy to install.

If your engine weren't grounded well already, it wouldn't be running. Money for nothing....

I really dont have much knowledge into the grounding of the engine but Import Tuner dynoed a new Suzuki Aerio wagon and just above cables themselves dynoed at 4-5FWHP extra from stock, so something is causing the increase in power.

Here's the whole article: http://www.importtuner.com/tech/0212it_ppsuzuki/

They also tested a few other cars with good gains, closest car to the SHO was a '97 Max SE with 6FWHP gain.

Hmm... that is a pretty good article. Really convincing. So how much does the kit cost? But what spdatt said does kind of make since. But that hp is coming from some where. Just not coming out of the blue...... just my 2 cents. I think it would be good with people with big systems......

For the S-Type we need it runs from $98-$118, but a local place can get me the silver for $98, hopefully it helps the small problem I have with my stereo, and a few extra HP to boot.

Will it was 0gauge for in the start but the large lump in my carpet was pulling a bit too much power for my setup, so I went with 2gauge, not bad sound with both my amps at half gain.

Even if I did I wouldnt install it till I dyno my SHO again next year or get it running whichever comes first :) .

I'll keep everyone updated with dyno proof once I do install this.

How much more does all this weigh? Does the extra weight negate the hp gains?

As far as I know it should be about the same as the factory wiring because all of that gets ripped out and it is just almost 100% copper wiring.

I've been lookin' into getting one of those kits too. Right now I have a problem with my ground. I get a nice lil wine in my stereo sound from the alternator. I'm replacing the alternator with the one from my extra engine and I'm gonna install a heavy duty grounding system and a VAK system. I've done alotta reading on the grounding systems and everything that I've seen says they work. You ground just about everything under the hood. I know pushing over 2000watts right now, I wanna be sure I have a good ground to insure a good sound.

If you order a VAK and have more than the OEM alternator please make a note of this. The cost is higher for 200A VAKs.
