I have a SHO motor that i'll be going through and re-sealing and i was wonder where is the best place to get the gaskets? I see that napa can get most of them...are their gaskets good quality? Does their head gasket "set" come with just 2 head gaskets or does that include all the intake/exhaust gaskets involved too(for $150 bucks). Also what rings do most people go with?

TIA thumb

The set you want to get is the HS54033. It includes everything that the Ford upper gasket set has. It should be $150ish with tax. Be careful, because they sell the head gaskets seperately also, but the price is about $100. The gaskets seem to be very good quality.

Should include the following gaskets; heads, cam covers, plug wells, intake manifold(all of them), exhaust manifolds, throttle body, cam seals, valve stem seals, and a few other bits and pieces. Basically everything you would need to remove and reinstall the heads.

I could do a group buy on these guys if there is enough interest.
I could do them for 140 Shipped to your door..
for 1-10 people 10-20 I could drop the price another 10 bucks

This is of course for the Complete 3.0 UGS

I just want to make sure, but the UGS includes the head gaskets and everything north of those, correct? Thats a smokin' deal for them... I'd be interested in that.

Yup, that's the NAPA gasket set that he sells. Coincidentally, he sets the reserve right around the same $149.99 that you can walk in to any NAPA and buy the gaskets for. It's a NAPA/Victor Reinz/Dana gasket set, and is high quality.

I just got that set from NAPA and they seemed as good or better than the ones that were already on my car. They were really high quality IMO too.
