Does anyone have ball park dimensions of the SHO engines for generations 1 and 2? I'm looking for width, length and depth, basically I'm looking for the clearance required to install a SHO engine in another classic Ford.
Thanks

And just in case you want to know how heavy they are, I just weighed another one. This time the 3.0 out of that Car Show minivan that Ford built for the 95 Chicago Auto Show.

It is complete with everything PLUS: a complete engine wiring harness, 5" of each downpipe which also included the two O2 sensors, both engine mounts, The intake and alternator is polished, a modified PS resevoir (SP?) mounting bracket to mount the resevoir to the fender well of the WindStar, both upper and lower radiator hoses, a modified accel. cable to throttle body bracket, and the X2J computer. The total weight, with oil is 542 lbs.

That is correct. No flywheel, pressure plate or disc. Transaxle was sold to a Forum member. I am going to start removing parts that are not needed for transplanting the motor into other FrankenSHO's so that the doctors can get a good idea of what the patient will weigh after the operation.
