So I’m thinking of cleaning up the engine during the winter so it looks nicer and thought while I’m in there I want to put on newer butterflies that are bored out. Any suggestions on what cleaning supplies to use and where to get the new and better parts?

shosource is where you can get new and better parts. Pretty fast shipping also.

When i had my whole intake apart I used crc gdi turbo intake cleaner spray. I used it before on my 15' sho and nothing worked better on contact and just as I thought, it worked better on my 90' sho then seafoam spray or crc throttle body cleaner spray.

The intake gets coked up because of the crankcase breather, so focus your cleaning on the cylinder heads. You could also port match with a dremel and play doh good for a bit more throttle response.
