Electrical gremlin?

Ok.. so I thought the buttons in the dash werent working right. The mem, volume up down, and seek near the cluster. Well I swapped it out with another one, and same thing. Volume goes down, not up. mem works, but seek does not. ? I have a short in the connector possibly? Or is this something controlled by the radio ? I swear this car just loves me sometimes.

Have you checked the connection at the back of the radio? The radio controls are a single wire that goes into a 2 pin socket on the back of the radio below the 6 pin slave CD player connection.

Nope, didnt bother to pull that out and look. I will do that next time I'm out there.
