Electric rack and pinion

Hey guys new to the forum sry if this is in the wrong place. I have a 2011 SHO taurus my electric rack and pinion broke and im wondering if a 2013 sho rack and pinion would fit it? I've looked all over ebay and everywhere and cant find a 2011 rack that don't cost over 1000$. And could anyone let me know which others would fit my car if a 2013 wouldnt fit I would greatly appreciate it

Doubtful that a 2013 rack would work. The part numbers are different and there is probably a reason for that. There is no cheap solution. Rock Auto has a rack available but, it requires programming. FORScan can probably program the rack. All replacement racks will require programming.

On the slight chance that the belt is the problem, there is a belt kit.
