I started taking it apart yesterday. today when I pulled the valve cover I found out my cams are not welded

got the head off. the exaust valve caught it bent the valve. very little damage to the piston.

does any one know of a good head porter and cam welder. can the cams be welded off the head

so the piston ring land got smashed and bent a valve. the head is warped. the bearings are wore out. and the oil pump is wore out more pics to come

At the current value of these cars, that is rapidly headed toward not worth working on any more.

You able to tackle an engine swap? If the price is right and the tranny is still good you might be in the range of not crazy expensive. If you have to pay someone to do it then maybe get another beater.
